Çatalköy is a small farming village east of Girne, not far from Bellapais at the foot of the five-finger mountain range. Here you will find small pubs, restaurants and cafés (particularly good is: Ani's restaurant in Çatalköy where the fish is excellent, e.g. whole fish done in salt crust - needs to be ordered in advance!) and very good barbecued meat dishes.

The opening hours of the village shops are variable, depending on the time of year. In witer they usually close around 7 p.m., in summer around 10 p.m. They are opened at about. 8.30 a.m..
