This village lies immediately to the north-east of Lapta, making it difficult even for people who live there to tell where one village ends and the next begins.

Nearly all the houses offer a wonderful views of both the sea and the mountains. The village is famous for its large number of almond trees. There are plenty of shops, and minibuses to Girne (Kyrenia) run at short intervals.
